This is one of my favourites; self at Merimbula Lake about 4 years ago.



The poles mark a zone where there are a few oyster leases. We mark a channel between them with our own flags. FlyingDutchie (member here) tells me that new leases have made it impossible to get right across to the township - a great pity.

I think this is an official wallpaper photo from severne? I use to have it as my wallpaper :P

EDIT; Actually i think its an official starboard photo ? It was on the front page of the (guessing) 2008? catalogue?
Not sure, go search through starboard pictures :P

I'm pretty sure the sailor is Boujmaa Guilloul - there could also be a video from which this is taken from.

It looks like Teaupoo (?SP) but look at teh old windsurfer sail.
I wonder if it's a local ??
Eitehr way, I would hate to be sailing in dead calm glass like that with that wave any where near me !!

Total arse of a shot with Daffy in maximum efficiency mode while I was on the back of the MI quad bike.



Pete and the Schurminator with big red and the Melbourne CBD in the background. Upwind.



Downwind Pete and the Sherminator having a drag race. The big red ship can create a big wind bend at the end of the track, sometimes good.


Daffy just after MI went through 50 knots.

Been posted before – I arrived with my mates early in the morning – it was bloody freezing. Only one other car parked high on the sand, walked down the track and saw kato looking like an alien come out of nowhere from the bottom of the course.



He then did this awesome laydown gybe in front of us then trucked off into the horizon. I don’t think he stopped all day.
