Looks nice and fresh but also a bit bulky. Posts take up quite a bit of space. Here you can see that in the old design, 3 posts fitted on a screen, now only 2 due to the margins and component placement.
I'd make sure the date is one line and embed the "Quote" button in the top as an icon or only show it on click/hover or so.
Also, the "Report a bug" button sits over the "Post" button so it's tricky to try to hit that button on my phone.

HI Laurie I would add more colour ...emojis are great .👍....your emblem Seabreeze is a little small in the left corner ...just a few thoughts if you are making changes 😜😜took me a while to figure out how to get post again you have to push emoji again ..I was trying to scroll down .to find post ..for some dummies like me it could be confusing .just my thoughts for a Wednesday

ok .yes so I went to put a emoji on up top push ed the smiley emoji near the B I U S ,so I push the emoji and they all appeared ,great .....😋I applied this one ....now I found you have to go back up to the top to the little emoji to get the emoji bar to disappear ,before posting ,I worked it out eventually ,but maybe another smiley face emoji with a X through it would be easier to work out for dummies like me .but I found it in the end .it had me stumped for a while ..but other than that ,I really like the bigger display on the reply pages .
I really liked the blue tab that we had coming from the bottom saying you have mail ,can we have that back that was cool😎.I see you have a report a bug on the left ,I've never had one .but good to know where the button is now .I miss the water back ground ...as we are all water babies .
ps... I like the changes .😜

test photo (if you can call it that, sorry, bad qaulity screen grab from 1.5k away) is Greg K and Byron at Budgy. Low res but i wanted to see how it posted.
At first i just dragged the image onto text body, it was there, i finished writing big long post then it went to error 500 page when posting.
Ah but i knew it doesn't work this way, it's an error from trying to send that image not propelry uploaded, anyway i got back here.
I had weird glitches making things very laggy in the text window.

No More Lost Posts!
Ever had a post lost because of a server error, or a network error, or your browser crashed?
When you're typing a post now, it's saved every 5 seconds to local browser storage.
This post, I typed .. closed the browser .. came back here .. hit "Reply" .. and here it is! 🎉

Firstly pasting a pic into this page, Laurie says pic was too big, so I'll halve it.

edit, yep so that works with a medium size image, lets try making it full page.
so that's 900 X 622.
The one that crashed the site was 1000, my normal scale down size, so lets try 950 and see what happens.
Now I just have to try 1000 again
So weird, that's the same size that crashed the site before.
Don't know what you've done Laurie, but it's working great now. I didn't have to use the crash recover feature.

Great stuff, the new "auto save post" is great. It even saves across different posts, so you can always come back to a post.
Any other dramas/features, time to speak up, else looks pretty complete, and everybody is happy?
Just a preference from me. This is what I see.
The time is only readable if I halve the distance to the screen and squint, just making the font normal black would help.
I doubt I'm the only one that's interested in how long ago the last post happened.
