yes its a bit of a problem with current boards made overseas. As a importer of a well known German brand ihave had this issue with the company saying in their specks carbon all over construction and yet the boards gone soft between the front footstraps. after much sending emails to and throe iam still no further to answers , seems the Thai company is not interested in the problem and have not even bothered to answer my mail so after much deliberation i decide to open it up and see whats what ,, i find only one layer of carbon and the lowest density 3mm hardcore foam just where you need the board to be stronger so now I have replaced the construction how all our boards are build extra hardcore foam and and timber veneer between the layers check out our boards NXS manta sailboards made in Aust since 1976 and still going strong Pete thy probably wont print this
