Lao put me onto this topic, because of the super glue info, for my burst blisters.
Being a cautious old fart, I did some research first, found that the difference between super glue and surgical glue is the type of alcohol in it, the stuff in super glue is more harmful to the skin.
So I went to the chemist to see if they sold the real thing, but came away with a different product altogether. Well 2 products actually, the first is a very firm jelly like stuff with an adhesive one side.
Provides the correct environment for the wound to heal, the second is a flexible waterproof covering that goes over the top. The whole thing stays on for about a week, to be replaced if necessary.
The 1st stuff is called "Cuttinova" the 2nd stuff is "Fixomull"
