do you guys tie your mullets back while you're sailing at nobbys?

nah, that'd be metrosexual
You need all day to sail there, takes 2 hours to drive there if you live 10kms away.
I thought all the bogans came from southern side of sydney?
If Wanda is so good why do they drive to Gerroa to sail?
All ribing aside, Nobby's is a nice layed back environment to sail in a NEster, it's a bit full on when the kiters are out in force, well the foil kite tool bags, but as soon as it gets bigger or windier they leave the beach pretty fast.. there is a big range of sailing ability so no one should fell out of place..
In southerlies we head down to Hams beach, Blacksmiths or tawoon Bay, if the ocean is a bit nuts we sail in the lake at Valentine, it can get some decent size chop, and it's usually 5m weather or stronger so a wave board works well.
