I like the photos from top of mast, how did you get that angle??

Simple, I just mount the camera at the right angle of the fandangle..... then take 999 shot's (Vibration at the top of a mast is a problem )..... then have the patience n time to flick thru them.... to maybe get a few that look ok.

Experiment, plenty of mounts on the market or have the joy of building one yourself to suit your needs.

wow what a place to get photos it was unbelievable.
Best time ever, met so many friendly people cannot wait until next year.
I did some screen shots from my go pro mast mounted I made my self but they are only screen shots from video.
Also some of the most incredible windsurfing photos you will ever see from Billy Craig he takes amazing photos so well worth purchasing. Not only is he a windsurfer but also a photographer so he takes great windsurfing shots.
I know my Maui sails and Exocet boards look good and me as well "so modest", although I am no oil painting like Jesper hey mate.

I was wondering why you weren't wearing any. How did your hands go?

I reckon some of those shots would go great in a windsurfing sport promo- how much fun does it look?!

My hands suffered, my calluses on my palms got blisters underneath them, then eventually they got ripped off down to red raw 5 cent piece size abrasions and I had a 2 days of competition left. I got my cousin who lives in Cairns to buy me some fingerless bike gloves, it helped a little but was too late. The last Freerace I felt like throwing up from pain throughout the whole race and just couldn't bare going through the pain again for slalom that afternoon, so didn't do them.
I've never had the problem before, even after sailing 172 km's. There was lot's of pumping to get on the plane though throughout the week, don't think I've sailed that hard in full on competition mode on for 5 days in a row in moist tropical conditions before, and lack of training for the calluses beforehand due to lack of wind
But got through all of it minus 1 round slalom so pretty happy with that.

Sounds like you had a full on week. Don't know how you can sail 172kms! Well you got through a week without coral in your feet!

No after, it seals up the holes really well. Doesn't work as well for the top of feet but on the hands it's pure gold in a tiny Tarzan grip tube.
