the freestyle is supposed to start this morning but we woke up to this instead.

should be a good show if it gets windy. Gollito was doing some crazy stuff yesterday.

Thanks for giving us some insight into places which most of us have only heard of. The photos are great, and it's nice to know that other places suffer from lack of wind also.
That looks like a really barren landscape.
What is it like inland?

It just gets rockier and more barren! There's full sand mountains at the south end where we are but a little further north there is quite rocky mountains. Doubtful there is a living plant on the whole island worthy of putting a sail under for shade....

yep its a dry as a dead dingo's donger. I think I overheard someone saying that it hasn't rained for 3 years. But I dont speak spanish.

Congratulations to all the Aussies who were out playing at Fuerto, but especially to Finian Maynard for winning.
