Has anyone seen the soup add on TV with the fully loaded man extreme canoe windsurfer?

It's the closest thing to windsurfing I've seen on TV for a while. I cant find it anywhere on the net but if you find it can you post it up for a laugh. I gotta get myself one of those windsurfer canoes with the fan on the back.

Ha Ha!!

That ad is a classic.

Maybe extreme kayak windsurfing is going to take over from Kite Boarding. I hear its quite the fashion to wear a cable knit jumper over your pfd while extreme kayak windsurfing.

Love the ad.

Somehow I imagine extreme kayak windsurf guy would be super tech mountain bike/grass skier in the summer. The outfit would probably be cable knit jumper over pfd with camo bike shorts and cleat shoes with explorer socks!

There is another ad floating around with windsurfing in the introduction. I think it was a washing machine ad but I wasn't really paying attention.

I was watching sunday afternoon TV on te weekend, Magnum PI was on and there were these cool windsurfers in the background!

I'm pretty sure there is a grey Mistral? board on the top right of the garage in a Ford ad (some small Blue model KA?) on TV atm.

I saw an episode of WaterRats once where the "baddie" was escaping on a windsurfer. He would have made it too if he hadnt kept on doing spectacular jumps and tricky stuff !!!

Dick Smith is't shy of a bit of windsurfing in their advertising, they had a classic 90's windsurfing shot on a portable LCD tv on the cover of their catalogue a few weeks ago.

It was a purple slalom board in some tropical location, I was trying to work out what model board it was (i should find better things to do with my time!).

For the Melbourne tennis comps, the Yanks here were showing for a short while in the ad some Norm windsurfing, presumably in the bay somewhere. Looked lame.

To this day, with this ad, yanks think the little fairy pingouins get about in Melbourne CBD, and that we feed roos in the backyard when you get up in the morning.

There was another one which had a windsurfer doing forward loops in the surf with Mars (or might have been Coke) in massive writing across the sail - first time I ever saw a forward loop.

They were the good ol' days when windsurfing was "cool"

Some other windsurfing classics were:

There used to be a coke ad where someone did a backloop i reckon circa 1981 ( it looked really scary)

The ABC used to have this classic freestyle windsurfing filler they used to run all the time, showing heaps of railriding. maybe about 1982 onwards.

Does anyone in Tas remember the Holiday Isle Margarine windsurfing ad?

Then there was a classic head dip on the Miami vice into.

Ps, there was a Nurofen ad from about 18 months ago with that girl from Getaway learning to windsurf down at La Perouse. You lent the her the gear to film that ad yeah?

What was her name? Am trying to find the ad on the web; cause there was quite a bit of windsurfing and bikinis going on in it.
