After market vent plugs

I reckon they should put the plugs right on the tip of the tail of boards so you can leave them standing in your shed with the plug out. I drilled a hole in the tail of my foil board, which had taken on quite a bit of water, to drain it better.

.AND, when does putting a vent in the middle of a heavily dished section of a board make sense! That's just asking for trouble!

This just bit me in the ass. I was doing a small bit of repair on out on my sunny deck. So, unscrewed the vent plug. I had a big cup of water for some wet sanding and knocked it over. It all collected down in the depression with the vent hole right in the middle. Extra dumb me kept on sanding. I even dabbed my sandpaper in the pool of water in the deck. Took 5+ minutes before I remembered the vent screw was only screwed in a 1/2 turn. SMH.
