As well for the 90 liter, but this is too small for me.

Maybe I plan to wingfoil later as well, but first master the windfoil.

I learned to wing foil on my Wizard 114. Using the SS 114 saved me having to buy a large learner wing foil board. Works just fine but you will need a shorter winging fuse with the mast fixed right at the front of the tracks. The 114 even has dedicated inboard wing foiling footstrap holes. It'll certainly get you started.

Yes I know, I even already have the Hover Glide short fuselage for winging.

One of these days I will try the short fuselage for windfoiling just as an experiment, to know what it does.

For wingfoiling could you put the foilmast enough in advanced position ?

I see lots of damage on older ones, if buying Slingshot secondhand have a very good look for crease (dent) running laterally on bottom. Also if they can't bend due to the big stringer, they try to twist, so get a funny excess concave on one side. Look for more concave on one side or stringer showing thru on the centerline. if any of those are present it's been used a lot and is stuffed.
If secondhand consider others too. If new buy what I really want huh.

By the way : I have a very funny fortunate/unfortunate story on my broken and repaired Wizard 125 that proves these are solid boards. Later I'll tell about it or start another topic about it.

Yes I know these board but haven't seen them around here.

I didn't knew you could use these board for windsurfing, windfoiling and winging.

Anybody used such an MB Board for the 3 disciplines successfully ?

I know Balz M?ller was using MB Board but I think now his is riding Severne Gator with (custom) foil tracks.

I also looked at the Severne Predator but it only has a deep tuttle box and I want my next board to have a double track to fine tune the foil mast position so I won't be backfooted with the big Infinity 99 cm.

I know I can remove the deep tuttle and install a double track but I'm reluctant to customize a new board.

I want to go lower than 10 knots, to 9 to 8 knots.

I don't go out if there is a prevision lower than 10 knots, but once I'm there and the wind drops I want to get going and I get the Infinity 99 cm and the Severne Gators 6 m? 5 en 8 m? out of the trunk.

I installed twin tracks on my Predator. It cost me about AUD350 in materials and hire for the router and about 8 hrs of my time. Definitely worth the effort.

What you'll find is that when the wind gets less than 10kts, it's difficult to work to windward and you just end up mowing the lawn. 50% of wave riding is working to windward so you can ride the waves. Having some wind and an efficient foil really helps.

Very nice board, like the board of Balz Muller.

It says a lot the factory rider of Severne gets the deep tuttle out and installs a double track. This should be standard.

Yes going downwind in the waves is nice.

Sometimes I go downwind and come back by coastal tramway for picking up my car.

Short fuselage (710) for windfoiling can be fun if you can get the foil far enough forward to get things to balance without mega pressure on the back foot. Wizard boards can't do this, freestyle can ( barely). Pumps great and lower stability keeps you on your toes. Carving is awesome.

Winging on the wizard boards needs the long fuselage (872) pushed all the way forward. Balance is OK, but handling sucks- feels like foiling on a dock...too much stability and not enough response.

I have 114 , I am 85kg , biggest sail I use is the 5.6 s1 on Sabfoil 999. It's a sweet setup, I can get going in 11knots average. I had gators 6.0 and the I find the 5.6 s1 far better, generates more pump power and only uses 400 mast instead of 430 . I think anything big than 6.0 on 114 could be uncomfortable. As wind increases to 15 knots I change down to 799.
As others have said get yourself a faster more modern foil, it will make world difference.

The last two days, I've been foiling in 10 to 12 kts of breeze using a Predator 110, North Wave Clear 5.3 & Slingshot PTM 899 foil. I weigh 87 kgs. It's amazing the difference an efficient high aspect foil and good sail make.
