What I am trying to respectfully say is some of the blokes on here tear bags out of it (not me) and they are saying the opposite. A once off surfer isn't going to carry any weight in this discussion unfortunately. If you have been surfing for twenty years and said it rips then we'll listen.
;-) on the starboard site it says "intermediate to advanced riders will draw the most performance from this shape" and no, i am not a foam rider. once i am on the wave it's not too bad.
the way i understand it, the board is not primarily meant to be for experts. and i thought it might be nice to get an opinion from someone who actually surfed the board. to put it into perspective, i made it very clear what kind of lightweight i am.
@ SeatrekIII: thanks for the potato-hint. i guess i should consider that board too.
