ha, when you actually see a whitey cruise past beneath you, I reckon you might think differently.
Happened on three separate occasions and twice with Tiger Sharks. I've even had a whitey come within an arms reach of me and then decide he wasn't interested.
Yes, ofcourse it is a frightening moment, but I don't dwell on it at all afterwards and certainly don't get put off by it.
To be totally honest, it reassures my knowledge that they are rarely ever interested in us. The odds are stacked in my favour and that gives me reassurance.
I'm not trying be all macho; there are plenty of things in this world that scare me. Sharks just aint one of them.
Anyhoo, spoke to a guy at Secrets this morning who just got back from Margs. Personally saw two whiteys in one week, different ones too. Super sharky down there at the moment.
