Listening to your somehow beloved chairman of selectors yesterday it seems like Mitchell Johnson is already selected for the first test.......watching his bowling now it just baffles me.....he really is a pie chucker. Select him and you will lose - thats some advice for free You need to bowl into the right areas......he can not do that in the one day arena let alone a test match. His consistency is absolutely terrible.

Ahhhh Teddy Teddy Teddy .... the Poms know that Johnno bowled 150kmh with their Fat Swinger's bitch Dukes on wettish wickets ... they also know that you can add 10 more kmh to that on the lightning decks here too and they will be well aware of how much that will bruise and fracture ...he's on song and everybody knows it

Seriously MJ is not in form.....think he had 72 knocked off him form his last 10 overs ! He may have to start though by default given how your A team performed today - clearly none of bowlers want to play in the up coming series - 318/0 !!! Smashed. And that is at Bellrieve !!!

If MJ plays 3 tests he will perform well in one test and average in the another and poor in the 3rd. His lack of ability to put the ball in the right place on a consistent basis will allow the English batsmen to get themselves out of trouble. He makes it impossible for a side to build pressure most of the time because he is so loose. When he is on song he is good - but test match cricket requires you to sustain a reasonable level of performance for a long time - this is his failing I reckon.

late morning wasn't really pretty listening to the radio at work. the guy i work with is so un aussie- like chrispy and boofy i said put your fm rock back on.


i said to him you know i have put up with your crappy self indulging , laugh at their own stupid jokes, 'coming at ya' fm radio stations all day everyday and you can't stop whinging about the cricket being on for one day

f me- fm 'rock' really grates me so bad, however the midday collapse was to much to bear- again

ted been getting up at 4.30 to start working brissy at 6.30 dw tues, dw and my run wed, shattered today when i got home

Yep, there was a bit of hope all day i think but you never know how good the first innings score is till you bowl. The bowlers really made day 1 look like a success for the Aussies. Let's hope we don't let them off the canvas with easy wickets in the morning.
