I'm back in the water again, and I am a bit sensitive to glare after the ops.
I tried the sunnies option, and they do work, but only to a degree, even with a very open pair and something to make the water run away, they're still not perfect.
one of the members, foamball, suggested I try a hat to cut down the glare so I got a peaked cap that would flick up and down reasonably well, to help me see while I paddled, and had a go with it. The first time i used it, it was in overcast conditions and I hated it so I stuffed it down my wetty. I used it again for around 1.5 hours this arvo in sunny conditions and it was much better so I think I'll stick with it for a while.
I look like a complete nob head in a hat, but that's not unusual for me, even at the best of times.
Funny story about me buying it on Boxing day, it's an FCS and I got it from Dripping Wet down at Manly, so there I was, forking out the dough to Andrew when he looks to my left and says to some interloper "yeah okay, I'll be with you in just a sec". I thought, 'How rude that someone would interrupt my immensely important $29.50 transaction' so I looked to my left to eyeball this usurper , and possibly even "shirtfront" him and I noticed it was our fearless leader himself, Tony Abbot.
