It was not that flash today to be honest - swell was too straight. Its preferred angle is not NE to East. I shall take some pics for you tom.
Ncie pics SMH - pics 6 and 7 remind me of my earlier life where there were lots of sheep and cows. Is that where I think it is?
yeah Ted its the Farm. its no secret and its 2 minutes drive away from me. during Winter midweek around lunch time after the morning crew have gone you can paddle out there in some really nice waves with less than half a dozen out and its pretty reliable banks as well. Im lucky I only work 7 day shifts a month and can surf every other day. I should be back into it in the next 3 months I reckon.

Hey smh, Have you surfed mini pipe much ?
Ive been out a few times more toward the suck hole . Mini Pipe is pretty heavy. on smaller days as you would know its a huge shin deep rock slab with a fast left barrel over it and mostly inhabited by bodyboarders. when its big it breaks right out and is really heavy. It always draws a crowd up on the hill with me being one of them. I'm too old to die.

I surfed it back in 87 (everything happened in the 80's for me but I'm slowly coming back). I went down with a small crew in my mates F100 and we slept overnight in the back of it next to the toilet block in the carpark. I recall dogs or farkin wolves howling all night - didn't catch much sleep. We had it at about 2 1/2 to 3 ft (sorry I missed when the 1/2 over head, etc expressions came in) and I surfed the right more then the left as it was less crowded. I recall a rock would pop up when riding the right and had to keep an eye out for it.
When we drove out of the area we took a wrong turn and drove into a small town nearby. As we drove in I noticed it was populated with aborigines. Everybody in the town stopped what they were doing and just stared at us. 5 white fellas in an F100 it was not the place for. We did a quick u-turn and got the fark out of there.
