Yes Mr Pom was there......when he paddled out I was incredibly shallow and nasty.....I paddled up to him and said that the next time he dropped in on me I would be doing the best I could to bury the tip of my board in his head. I feel much better now.....and no attempts by the pom to drop in on me again

Yeah.....so you are going to be over in Hawaii....surfing "fantastic waves" ....seeing "turtles the size of table tops"'.
And you haven't got a decent camera system.
A lot of us say "pics or it never happened"

Ted the dust has only just settled here from an incident last year at the cliffs sort boarder dropped in, supper went around him put both arms with paddle over his head got the SB in the head behind (supper was a big boy) IMO a real fluke . If he tried to do that another 20 times it wouldn't happen . It's all very well to say get some one with your paddle but the reality is it's very hard to get close . I don't think it's the thing to . Comparing NZ and AUS is like chalk and cheese there is much more aggression in the water in AUS . Summers coming so no doubt we'll see some more stupid stuff , people do some silly things in front of you when on a 666 particularly when your taking of , big board 100KG idiot with a paddle they don't think about that And yes some of 666ers are wave hogs , numbers in the water are a factor I look at before taking a 666 out

I was just taking the P155 earlier re that TB. Never one to condone violence. Sounds like a heavy situation over your way. I imagine there are still a few fellas in those parts that take no prisoners ! And clearly crowds still not an options given you are getting some good quality uncrowded sessions of late.

I am presuming that by "natives" you mean the general population of Gisborne rather than brown skinned people being singled out especially?
If so.... then yes......on nice sunny mornings when surf is sluggish there are lots of 666 people

No harm intended Ted.....I was just going "Woof".....like some people keep big dogs in their backyards to keep people away when their dog goes "Woof"
Just trying to keep people away from me
Surely towball is coming back with picture and video footage for us?

Looking good at moment.....think have surfed town beach from Monday four days out of five just by myself (except an occasional towball)

This Saturday morning just me.....looked pretty flat and gutless but 3 foot sets occasionally coming through' But you wonder about rising ocean levels? What does that mean for your favourite point break?

Well I haven't heard this story.....and usually the knee boarder tells me "everything"
I think a person who is not a "wave hog" will sit back and relax if they see some other person paddling for the wave.........I know towball finds it quite hard to do

I actually offered to go with towball to Hawaii......to carry the boards and threaten to punch out the locals.......but he said nah!!! I've got the missus for that :)
