Ted, your sporting alliances are effed! Can't say I care for rugby but cricket.
Who the f*** goes for the poms? They came to Australia, and at the moment it seems like it was 4 nothing!
Oh wait, it is! Haha! I am hilarious.
Tom.
Look Tom the world is not a fair place as Weiry, Chrispy & Scotty will tell ya
Scotty and Weiry have been waiting since 1971 for a premiership. Chrispy's team brought one but now have nothing for another 5 yrs. Its a sad state of affairs. Meanwhile my club Manly continue to perform well year in year out whilst our main rivals are busted for cheating. I support Manly for the simple reason that when RL first grabbed my attention back in 1991 a fine all black called Matthew Ridge (actually he was our number 2 at the time) left NZ rugby for Manly. His coach was Graham Lowe from NZ. There was also the Iro bros playing for Manly so it was natural that I followed them. 10 yrs later I was living in Manly so all should be forgiven on that one! I normally attend about 5 to 6 games a year. Meanwhile Origin also grabbed my attention and a certain Mr Graham Lowe was appointed the QLD coach so naturally a lot of us started our state of origin watching days supporting his team - QLD were **** for a long time but once I moved to Australia things started to turn around. As they say - beautiful weather one day then 8 straight the next

. As for my love of the English cricket team - it comes from 3 sources. Firstly, I support NZ and anyone playing Australia

Its just the way it is because you guys were so good for so long and it provides endless banter opportunities between me and my mates. Secondly I am not a Michael Clark fan - he is an amazing cricketer but not my cup of tea. I also do not like some of the tactics that have been introduced in recent yrs or the move towards squad rotation and a rugby fella telling fast bowlers when they should play. I like the appointment of DL though and think that will do wonders for your lot. And thirdly I just love to stir the pot

I also lived in the UK for 5 yrs before moving to Aus.
