^^^^ I know what you mean about doing things reguarly. After I found I had bulging discs I took up yoga for a while and all was good but life the universe and everything got in the way and I let it go and was back at square one.

Ha me to mate I have 2 dvds yoga for surfers used once I still maintain that flatwater paddling a 666 is the best exercise I have ever done especially for back trouble

look i am the the most useless person in the world when it comes to taking care of myself. yet 20 mins in the morning is even easy for me. instead of me having a smoke, can of coke and a snickers for breakfast checking **** out and perving on joggers. i now stretch, drink tea, check seabreeze, check surf cams and still perve on chicks...they even thick im a cool yoga type hipster and speak to me now

+1 for yoga. My shoulder was so bad after some ops I couldn't paddle which is why I started 666ing. The yoga has helped tremendously and I am even back surfing a shortie when I thought I may never prone surf again. I am still a fat unfit bugger though but no back or shoulder problems. I only do 40min twice a week.

MRI scan will tell you everything guy's don't waste your money on the what if,go straight to the Doc and get a referral.

Agree with Mac,

Also may need a Quarterzone injection.

I have just recovered from a similar injury. my rotorcuff was stuffed along with a broken collar bone and a fractured scapular ( shoulder blade ) Went over the handlebars on a downhill Mountain Bike out at Mt Joyce.
The worst part was I had to ride a lid for 2 months.

Stuk I found this exercise helped me alot.

Lay on the floor on your back, put your arms straight out to the sides then bend your elbows (90 deg) and point your closed fists towards the celling.
Now keeping your shoulder blades on the floor try and touch your palms/wrists on the floor besides your hips. Then in one motion roll/move your hands from your sides up to the side of your head with your knuckles touching the floor. Try and remember to keep your elbows at 90 deg the whole rotation.

If it hurts bringing your hands up near your head STOP!! You may have a tear... get advice from your Doc.
Hope things get better soon

When I first started doing this I couldn't much at all but now I can touch the floor both ways.

Chrispy, I just got back from France! 2 week 20th wedding anniversary tour. Didn't see any waves but saw a lot of ****ing Roman ruins. It's taken me a week to get over jet lag.
