I blew a thong out on the Corso yesterday at 2pm racing for the Wharf Bar - called into the nearest store (only about 7 to choose from) and purchased a new pair of havvies....I put the old ones in the bin in the shop and told the girl behind the counter I was a little annoyed at the last pair as they did not last - she told me to keep my receipt as they now offer a 6mth warranty.

this is shameful really. considering i think most of us would have been barefoot most of our lives...or is it just me,now i wear faggy backpacker jandalls(one or two lls kiwis?) we are weak .i played everything bare foot...now im just a softy woos

'Surfer Joes' from Big W and the 80's, around $12.

Still have some beachcombers which were a moulded version of these.
Mrs even sewed some new straps fro them which I then glued in.
Not a cheap bastard, I just liked 'em, and they stopped making them.

Oh, and plus however many on the Reefs with the bottle openers. I wore mine through Bali and Lombok recently, and they were comfy as. Important with plantar fascitis.

P.S. My son stole my first pair, which were leather, and I had to make do with plastic replacements, cause I couldn't buy the leather ones. I'd call him a little prick but he's as tall as me and constantly working out.
