You know you need one Mac. You can hide it in your closet and surf it when there's no-one else around to hide your shame. All I can say is.... we have proof
So Mac how did it feel ? Talk us through your experience - did ya enjoying smashing it down the line and floating big sections before finishing off in the shore break with the fins breaking out? Or were you just crusing along hoping no one was looking? Did you enjoy the late (in relation to the McT's) drops? The ability to generate speed in a flash? The lack of paddle power?
Non of the about sadly, the surf was crap and so was I,it was fun and wouldn't mind another go in some good stuff tho,I paid the camera crew to delete all photos before they left the beach
The board had a step deck which I found off putting getting up
I had a 7s 6'3" 3 or 4 years ago - was a beautiful piece of machinery whilst it lasted. I miss that board. I like the stepped idea - you keep the volume in the middle but have the nice rails. Only thing I did not like about that board was the swallow tail - they always require far too much fixing!!

Agree the swallow tail looks exposed. Wonder if it is there for visuals or whether it really affects how it rides? Every surf shop fixes surfboards, does anyone bother modding a surfboard.(showing my noobness)

Thats what I thought until I bought one. I'm reasoning that its no different to looking after the nose.

FYI : the new model of the 7S SuperFish has a far less dramatic swallow tail... (and yes I damaged both 'tails' off my old one - had to fix them two or three times each).
Step deck is the same, but seems a little less 'obvious'. The bottom concaves are a lot deeper - big single into a double...
