1999 I think? Wallabies world cup victory dinner at Darling Harbour my mate was Older brother of Matt Burke Aussie fullback and the company he worked for was affiliated with Eastwood Rugby we got tickets to the dinner then got on the piss with some of the team afterwards in Darling Harbour I can remember signing coasters for Pommie chicks at one stage cause they thought I was a wallaby

My Dad, he passed away 3 years ago.

Greg Norman was my sporting hero growing up, i was working for Cobra golf in the 90s when i got to meet greg. well lets just say he was the biggest disappointment as sporting legends go. right from the moment he put his hand out and gave me the wet fish hand shake

i had the pleasure in meeting Bernhard Langer on the practice putting green of Royal Melbourne at the coke classic in the 90s. i was just standing there on my own when bernhard walks up and put his hand out and started talking about Australia,golf, and life. one of the nicest blokes i have ever met, i didn't have a beer with him but i swear i had one in my hand

i would love to have a cold one with my dad kevin he died when i was eight but i believe i will get the chance somewhere.

A wee scotsman by the name of billy connelly. First and only time I thought I was about to die of asphyxiation through laughing so much.

I saw him in Newcastle few years back. He doesnt so much tell jokes as tell stories, bloody funny ones at that. He will start off on one tangent and have you pissing yourself but much like these threads he goes off onto something else equally funny, then 20 minutes later he will pick up on the original story and for a second of two you think, what tha, then it clicks and he is off again.

Can't imagine what a beer with Billly Connelly and Robin Williams would be like, don't know if I would survive.

wouldn't mind having a cold one with chrispy. problem is it wouldn't be one or two. i know i would be hang over for days

Another beer with good mate "Dunny". We lived together, best mates for a long time. Then we drifted apart, family etc etc. Hadnt seen him for a couple of years and then bumped into him at the pub, an endless night ensued and we promised to not let it be so long to catch up next time.

2 weeks later he was ran over by a car staggering across the highway drunk from the casino. Dead.

One of the most hilarious people I have ever met.

Are dead people ok?

Cause I'd be up for a few brews with Bob Marley, I'm sure he would need something to rinse out the dry mouth

first story i had the pleasure to party with the beastie boys in the early 90s in there suite at the bondi hotel. mind you this was in a period off my life that was quite decadent and hedonistic got to spin some discs with dj hurricane and indulge like a rockstar for a evening.
