Roosters have a habit of only playing for 65 mins this year. Definitely the team to beat - if they can put together an 80 min performance not many others will have a chance. Storm have been inconsistent all season as have all teams outside the top 3. Hard to see the winner not coming from Cowboys, Broncos or Roosters.

Speaking of consistency - which team has been consistently bad - scoring just 12 points against conceding 77 in the last two weeks prior to the finals?

Do you really think the NRL would post negative news about their performance for all to see on their website? Ummm lets see if the WSL would ever do that as well............


Post must be a bit slow in Queensland. A few days old that news. This morning had always been the planned media attack as such. The big things they want are fairly reasonable I believe - 8 weeks leave and a fair chunk of the TV rights - something the cricketers set the scene for many years ago by sticking together and the Aussie soccer players are doing poorly at the moment over. It should not be that hard. Lets hope it does not come to a strike situation. I can imagine Souths striking for no reason as they were so crap for so long - but there are a few teams like Manly who have earn't their 10 years of finals action in a row and should get long service leave as well
