Don't know about the nugget, but the 8' 7S and it's been good for me to learn on (same weight) and I still have a lot of learning left on the 8'. You clearly are not a beginner ASEA.

I am looking forward to trying out the 7'3 7S to see how much difference there is. GPA might have one for sale soon

The 8' is so wide, it's frustrating to carry if you end up walking a long way, unless you have gorilla arms.

A 7.11 tuflite nugget would be a good option and would be high on my list as a 1 board fits all option. Its better in suckier waves than a 7S and easier to carry than an 8ft 7S. As you know I love the 8.0 7S but think its too flat and wide for the way you surf. You surf and turn hard and you need a board that turns well on the rail and large fishes do not do that.

I recon asea could surf that 6,8 7S BB that you had, have you still got it?
