Hey Mac, I have been absent from the forum and the surf for a bit but have been lurking these past few weeks. I am actually heading down LM tomorrow for the first surf for a while Im not sure if there if there will be any swell but will enjoy a paddle anyway.

Given up the SUP completely due to lack of time. Only had a few waves since we last caught up for lots of reasons and now painfully out of shape. Catch up soon. Cheers

Will meet you at Bluebottles for a late lunch Friday. Gunna get a quick surf in when I arrive then into town for the best coffee/muffins on the east coast.

I haven't entered....not been surfing for about 2 months...hope for some surf before the event tho.....

There are heaps of spaces as of last week so you will get a spot for sure. Oh and two months is nothing - I actually don't remember the last time I surfed a longboard, so I am really in the poo me thinks. Just hope I do the board justice by at least getting to my feet, which will be an improvement on the last time I longboarded.

Will be there hopefully by about 10.30am Friday - at the point house.

(I think we may have to have a little wager on which of us gets the highest "best 2 wave pointscore" of the weekend - between you and me and tomayama and obct )

ah mac mate, the brunswick gig was a last minute decision. then we thought....he hates beachies,even though nice shoulder high for asea, one other bloke out, too good mate. what you would have loved besides the waves was bruns hotel...what a great great place, big feed heaps of coldies and watched the wallabies beat the welsh.

I never liked Makaha anyway.

BB is still to show my his secret GC spot, but looking forward having a wave with him one day.

PS. Not LB, but drives past Greenline yesterday and it was closed. I hope all is good with Scotty as he is a top guy.

Hi daneli - greenline closed up mate - as a retail outlet anyway.
I'm still at secret spot coupla days a week and getting good uncrowded waves - havent hit the points for months (except the pass on friday)
