But McT SUP's are Fish / Bobsled orientated. They could make a Malibu oriented SUP very easily... Eg, Naish Nalu 9'6... looks like a McT Fireball... in a way...

yeah as a SUP...I have surfed the production Mct 9.0 and for a massive thick corky thing it surfed ok....But I want a more refined board...Mal with nose riding in mind. I like the outline of the Redline in pin, I reckon I could get the thickness down to high 3's

my first SUP was a surftech Takyama

husq, be carefully you don't over do it by under doing it. i like the idea thou.

i reckon you could go 28" and have it thin and get what you are looking for especially if you go pintail. the pin tail will take away a lot of stability. even with area rounded pins on a 8'8s and 8'6 x 28 the difference is a lot.at 28" you would get a nice curve into the pin. 27" might be to much.
