well of course all the good old boys in here will say keep the baby blanket after they all still have their beginners boards too don't they.

was always going to be the answer.

so is that what you wanted to hear

but have any of them watched your surfing I ask.

your better than that board but the old habits come back every time you ride the table top.

but if you want to hang on ill still surf with you unlike that evil mac

I feel like a soggy football no one wants to kick around anymore

Keep old faithful....magic boards are like magic beans they only ever turn up and when they do your partner will probably call you an idiot for getting them

Yeah old faithful won't get sold that's for sure.

I do understand the need to expand one's skillset through riding different boards but I guess it's that whole comfort zone thing and possibly an element of laziness sticking with a board that is so easy to paddle and catch waves on. That same board then has the shortcomings of maybe not being as agile or lively as a shorter more refined board, as always it's a compromise.

I do understand and appreciate what the guys are saying and know they're probably right in many ways, in any case it's a good excuse that I'll use to expand on the quiver.

Keep the tips coming mac, lacey & chrispy, I do enjoy the banter and laughter.

What an amazing coincidence Vanders, over the weekend my brains trust advised me that my missus of 42 years was holding back my shagging development.

They reckon I should get a much younger model with tits like rocks, an arse that you bounce coins off, and a veritable rooting machine to boot.

It sounded kind of tempting, but then I thought about it for a bit and realized, I'm just about as good as shagger as I'm ever going to be, from here on in, and I may manage one or 2 good rides on the new model before I get sick and tired of all the additional effort and start wishing I was back having a nice comfortable ride, along with a few good laugh on the old model.

So I told them I would stick with the one I know the best

mmmmmmmmm and I say should get a quivering of 5 Obs ....... in no particular order mind you...... a 6 foot 4 Amazonian Goddess (she'll pound your hide into a fine Mango Pulp puree after you've been a bad bad boy at PP with the Lads - or indeed while you are being a bad boy at PP with the Lads) ...... a 5 foot even Brazillian hottie that will make you Cross Step like a Crusty Demon with his Goolies on fire ...... a 6 foot Russian Mistress who will tie you up & do cheap sordid wild things to your Buttocks ...... a hot-blooded 5 foot 5 Italian firebrand with big olive-skinned fins who will drive you to smash the Lips ...... and of course you will need a 5 foot 4 West Aussie grifter chick who will stay at home & do nothing but shag your brains out ......

vanders how could you seriously listen to board advice from those two... neither can keep a board longer that a hot roast sits on my plate on a sunday...they are waffling on about a 1\4 here and a rats pube there....maybe they should be following your example and surf the board you have,or here is a big one listen to someone who actually knows something about shaping, like a shaper...or a longboard instructor who was a Australian champion multiple times

now go surf

yep,no good for the longboards. I can get the 7;6 in it no problem. from what he said I assume it would be their factory. they are by far the best built racks I have seen anywhere solid steel and very farking heavy to move I found out

bahahaha, not even my green could dent that one.

seriously though mac, this is far from a brand deal as I was the first person to tell vanders to buy the goddard, and im stoked its working for him.

but as my above post says,im just a bit dubious about your so called expertise on recommending what boards people should be riding
I know maca,as stated above who is a multiple aussie longboard champ and instructor who has surfed with vanders, well I would put more money on his opinion when it comes to advice me I wish I was more than a keyboard friend, but that's how it rolls sometimes

mac who gives you all your board advice
