I am having an Art attack after reading that Mac...
After all those hand shapes could the final piece of the puzzle really be a Pop out???

Always thought LL was a trend setter..

If you're wondering how they go, ask Dave at McT, his comment to me this morning nearly knocked me over.

I've had my hands on the one Dave was surfing a few weeks ago he basically told me that I saw nothing and say nothing.

Glad to hear they are getting good feedback.
The design is a proven winner so if they keep that LB glide and drop some weight it should be a good board.

Probably can't get a better endorsement then the bloke that works there either.

I think I'll be staying well away, Manly is too crowded on the best of days, throw in an event like this and it's just unbearable.

The best things about Manly are a fish and chips joint there called "Mongers" for the feed and the Wharf bar on a sunny day for the optic nerve.

Just looking at the pic of the blue board, and reading the specs of the Evo2, I'm guessing the main difference between the evo and the pin, are the slightly chined rails on the pin.

Can't really see the outline of that blue board and I don't really give enough farks about bobs boards to go to his site and check it out, so I'll just take your word for it

seeing as I was given the board for a go and liked it I better say something.

ps if I didn't like I wouldn't be saying anything.

my 10 fter had a side fin knocked over so I used this even tho kirra was high tide fat.

paddles good and surfs like a mid length

until you get a touch of speed or the wave shapes up. then it all happens. on the plane it becomes a very performance like board.

quiet amazing in fact. feels light and responsive in this construction.

last wave had a nice wall, so I fed it down the line and t ed up a close out. when at it hard driving my outside arm through the turn - landed it with a bottom bounce.

very un mid length like yet I would say reasonably easy to ride.

lots of lookers at the board and got a guy just walking past bailed me up.

comparison. the bsq was more of a open face board where the warthog is more your pocket type taking nothing away from the bsq.

would I have one- yes.

this review is based on one surf in very full waves

Good review LL.

You said it liked being in the pocket, maybe more of a short beach break type board?

Yeah I reckon so. Once the nose lifts out its up to you.
However full rail cutback -obviously its still 7.2 in length

Well. The last surf I had I felt like a rock star at the alley in some reasonably good waves
But as I said to you it not just the performance end.
The glide through the flats to connect is excellent.

it seems like the perfect alley board

not only do I want one. im getting one.

ps. The construction plays a big part in this board I believe

Haven't been online for a while as i've been too busy working on a new project here in Australia.

As many of you know I've been connected with NSP in the Global Head office who were previously distributed in Oz by GSI. The news is that now Surftech and NSP are owned by related companies and we have formed a company in Australia called Aroona distributing both brands.

Of interest to you guys perhaps is that i'm receiving forward samples of Bear, Robert August, Takayama and McTavish Longboards quite a while before the market sees them...... I'm keen to surf with guys that know what's going on to get some productive feedback.

Check the new catalog of the 2016 boards as below:

issuu.com:443/surftech4/docs/2016-surf-issuu

Hi CMC, Any updates? I clicked on an Aroona ad the other day (re NSP/DC race boards I think). Just wondering when the time might come when we can click on a site and see not only the board range, but the $Au prices and the stockists?
Any feedback appreciated. Cheers.
