Haven't been online for a while as i've been too busy working on a new project here in Australia.

As many of you know I've been connected with NSP in the Global Head office who were previously distributed in Oz by GSI. The news is that now Surftech and NSP are owned by related companies and we have formed a company in Australia called Aroona distributing both brands.

Of interest to you guys perhaps is that i'm receiving forward samples of Bear, Robert August, Takayama and McTavish Longboards quite a while before the market sees them...... I'm keen to surf with guys that know what's going on to get some productive feedback.

Check the new catalog of the 2016 boards as below:

Thanks CMC.

I've dealt with your rep here in Sydney of late via SUP Gear Australia and he's been awesome and I'm currenty riding & loving the 11' Munoz.

I'm looking to test drive the Bear Waikiki Special and my wife the Revelation when the boards are available for demo in Sydney.

Keep me in the loop - thanks.

G'day Ted,

The Flyers in TLPC retail around the same as the Pu Version. CI is selling them in their own shops in Mona Vale and Byron also.

Thanks - $1,045 they tell me.

Can you give me an indication of how you would rank the construction of TLPC against the FST range of Firewires? I need / like a strong board. Would be interested to hear you feedback.

One more question - or several rolled into one. Are you producing the new DHD boards?

www.theinertia.com/business-media/did-dhd-surfboards-just-reinvent-the-shaping-game/

Why can they claim this as DHD reinventing surfing? When if you look over your site you can see a very very similar style board. Plus lot of others have been doing this sort of things for years anyway - with varied success it must be stated.

The Rustys are on clearance as they are not going forwards to 2016.

This is the Happy Shovel. http://www.surftech.com/surf/rusty-happy-shovel-tlpc

The 7'2 waterhog is amazing......

Lacey, Mac will need to get a couple of the McT TLPC or he'll be missing a good part of his quiver.

Hey Ted, FST and TLPC are both EPS with PVC Sandwich.

The key differences from my understanding are:

- TLPC uses fully fused EPS from a model specific EPS mould meaning the core is more water resistant and with higher integrity

- Rather than balsa Rails TLPC has a T-Stringer and Carbon Flex strps to control the flex making the board lighter.

TLPC is very different to Tufflite which was rigid and no flex, TLPC is a performance construction. The vid below demonstrates that pretty well.

Hey Ted,

We are not producing the DHD boards. I think its a brave claim to be honest. Marketing is what it is though. I'm stoked to see the big brands finally moving to create something more than the same old PU.

I know Darren well and I'm sure they have many more things up their sleeve.. JS and DHD now marketing EPS boards as lighter, stronger and faster than their custom PU's is a game changer for me....

Rode the red railed Bear on Saturday..... Took 2 or 3 waves to get used to the light weight. Really loose for a 9'6.

Frothing to get the Robert August 9'0 on the water......... I'm in heaven here.. Hahaha.

What's the point Mac they don't do them in special colours

Seriously, I do like the underside specs on that one, pity it's a good 20cc less than my fat arse can surf.
