Thanks for the photos!

One of my favorite McT Boards is actually The Original. The lesser known cousin of The Fireball. The Original is a truly brilliant all rounder too. Rounded pin tail handles the bigger stuff. Wide hips give great pivot points when on the back foot. Rides smooth. You can sneak a nose ride, or an easy 5. Goes well in the small stuff, and will really surprise you in punchy beachies, utilizing the rocker, and your back foot on the wide hips. And stand on the tail for a quick stall if you need to.

Chines, plus belly channel flattens the central rocker for improved paddling, but the extra rocker remains at the rails, which helps it to excel on the hollower stuff. Single concave on the nose / entry rocker, to help you out when you are up front.

Well done Bob and the team, you made a great board!

Cheers mate, glad to be on your team Am over the moon with it, as I said, it's in showroom condition and while the transport was slow, it arrived without a scratch on it so cheers to the guys at Byron.
Got an 8" out the back mate and have set it about 50/60mm from the front of the box. What do you reckon??

Sounds good mate,if you want to loosen it up a tab whack a 7 inch in the box

After having a chat with vanders last week and asea yesterday,we all agree that everybody should have two boards. You never know when one may need a repair and if you only have the one board your stuffed.

$1400 for FB/UFO + $200 shipping,there you go.

And all B/S aside - as I have advised our nz bros before - get your ass on a plane and come over for a week and take your pre-ordered custom back with you and claim the tax back as you leave Do the sums - it makes sense.

You're not wrong there mate. I try to get up to Scarborough/Trigg area but Trigg is way packed Otherwise Secrets is the go for me or even down the road at Singleton. Lancelins back beach is not too bad either but thats a hike if the waves aren't happening. I'm thinking on Singleton this weekend, the swell is up a bit (on the last few months anyway) and with the new board, I want to be where there isn't too much of a crowd. I guess that sounds weird but 9'6 is a big board and I don't want to kill anyone while I'm getting used to the size of it

The missus has a new job so that will take her to Ozzie Park everyday so am thinking of packing up and moving over to the dark side[}:)] of the river. Good for her (travelling) and good for me (beach)
