Nah mate I thought the tail of the board needed it more than I did, made a nice soft pillow for it to rest on.

Ride report time Vanders, how does it compare with the Redline ?

Did SDR give you the volume off the computer for your board.

Cheers

I was just telling obct last night how much different the new board is compared to the Redline, I'm sure the Redline's are good boards if you're a good surfer, I'm aiming for average surfing ability & that's pretty much the conversation I initially had with SDR, I told him I wanted a 10' board that would paddle well & turn when & how I wanted it to. The initial ride was average because I failed to listen to mac regarding the fins & was talked into fins by guys that should have known better but didn't (nothing to do with Steve), the board just didn't react like I thought it would & how Steve described it would, so with a change of fins to a Wiz 8" centre & sides it became a different board & turns just perfectly when it's asked.

The board at 24-1/4" wide not surprisingly is very stable but still manoeuvrable, it paddles well which has resulted in my wave count improving dramatically & I'm finding I'm getting less fatigue from paddling. It's very forgiving but still seems to have some speed about it so it's ticked all the boxes & I reckon my surfing's improving already.

I'm a happy man.
