After speaking with Alain he confirmed that he got 2nd (BOP) and 4th (Distance) for the Mens over 50. Well Done! Pretty good effort for someone who went from Oz to France to Oz to USA in the space of about 2 weeks!

My understanding is Travis couldn't even walk in the park, much less run through a transition area. But I've never dislocated a knee either.

Travis certainly looks a bit tentative on the dismount in this pic. He must be wondering, at this stage, how he will do hobbling up the beach to the finish line - with the pack closing in on him.
