There must've been about 200x people out surfing yesterday but I've never seen such a swarm of sups! i showed my mate this pic and he said they look like a swarm of mosquitos haha.

got me thinking.. what do you call a group of sups?
a 'pod'? my partner liked the term a 'flamboyance', which is the term for a group of flamingos

In France, we say "Its China" ("C'est la Chine!") for overcrowded spots.

For SUP specifically, I tend to think of a "herd", as we are more mobile than the flotsam of prone surfers.


By thinking of it, it could remind me of groups of sandpipers... SUPipers?
