Fingers crossed the wind is going to be blowing dogs off chains for the distance race.... not that i give a crap cause I'm not paddling.....hahahaha...... but im always interested in what strays are roaming the streets of St Kilda at 4am in the morning.....

And in closing..... ID LIKE TO APOLOGISE IN ADVANCE FOR ALL THE REPERCUSSIONS OF CERTAIN EVENTS "THAT MAY HAVE HAPPENED AND/OR MAYNOT HAVE HAPPENED" IN THE STATE OF VICTORIA..... at present i have a great legal team working hard to "clean my butt and clear my name" of any wrong doing in the states of Queensland and South Australia.

I know PTWoody has secretly been training 3 times a week on a "private coarse training facility" he modelled from the gps "stats" he took from that frankston coarse.....he will be unstoppable

Conditions looking good for Port Phillip on Saturday - Race HQ is Safety Beach Sailing Club at the northern end of Safety Beach. Registration from 9am - Race safety briefing at 11am.

Sunday - depending on what the wind does - we will either be at Blairgowrie or our back up location Flinders Yacht Club - near the Flinders Pier.

Gotta say I'm getting a little excited about Saturday's downwinder. Cold or not there'll be a stack load of bumps by the look of the forecast.

It's not going to be nuking but if you bring the board with the red stripe on it you should be very happy.

He means one big red stripe Chris = all red.
Trailer is out the front of the house ready to go and it looks like a Starboard / Fanatic demo trailer.

Very excited by the field that is assembling for the event - some of the country's best paddlers going head to head???

With three winners from the M20 taking part - and the crew from NSW and VIC going for it - plus expected 20 - 25kt winds - and an assisting flooding tide it should be good!

Sunday - at this stage the early call is to relocate to Flinders Yacht Club.

I you are relocating to Flinders on Sunday, you'd better have the dog on a leash.
The surf is going to be pumping!!

Bloody cold Micheal. Heading through city now and understand why jacket sales are so high in Vic. Now, what do I wear tomorrow to stay warm. .?

You do realise the Mornington Peninsula is a few degrees colder than Melbourne?

Thanks Lyn and Jeff and team for a great weekend. Great to catch up with the Vic crew and get the opportunity to wear my cold water booties. Hopefully we can manage to get some of the Qld crew down next year.
