Are you sure about the international competitors? Because that was not the case last year and I know a few people from NZ would like to come....

Alain, I think the reference is to this event, being the NSW titles (not the Aussies) being open to interstate & overseas competitors - which was the same last year!

As for the Aussie titles later in the year, I think when details of the event are officially released, your question might be answered.

This looks like a great place to hold the titles , we have a good crew coming from Qld to join in the fun and support the event. This place would be a good venue to become another Merimbula style of event.

Been to the scotts head event for the last 2 years!!! Great event well run lots of water safety for the racing and good feed, cold beer at the bowl'o!!! Have all ready book for this year

We spent 10 days with the family at Shoal Bay Resort over Christmas. Best family holiday by miles. I surfed every day. Wife and kids paddled out the front of the resort. First time my wife has approved a SUP holiday! Titles will be awesome.

A proper surf contest or just a freestyle expression session?

Im open to offers
but I was hoping it will be a proper surf contest
start at 8 am Saturday morning 20 minute heats finish by noon Dw inder starts at 1.30pm
but if theres guys that only want to surf we will acomadate them
can you be a judge or get the surfers to judge each other ?
I know Rod from Starboard has offered to judge and surf
plenty of beach just hope theres surf
main goal good family weekend surf fun and relax beer bull**** and a blast

Reminds me of an incident last year when we were walking the dog over the park and this pr1ck had a remote helicopter which was 3ft long. The thing lost control and landed 2ft away from my dog. He was 70 metres away and I was yelling abuse and swearing like a sailor at him. As we got closer the Mrs says "I think that's Ian our Chemist". Awkward.
