Dont forget to work in with others in the water as its a public holiday and there will be a lot of crew around pass on some ALOHA if you can.
Please assist by staying out of the sand dunes as they are totally off limits, no people no boards no animals no exceptions, the area is a breeding ground for the Hooded Plover a threatened species only a few breeding pair left in this area.
Huey be kind to us and FUN FUN FUN will be had by all.

My understanding is it's still looking the goods for Signposts at 13th Beach. We need to get there super early though - that carpark is going to fill up on a public holiday and the next carpark is 300 metres away.
just being the dad ok.... firstly bring you own refreshments or support the local shops which are a few K's away, get there really early to sign in and avoid disappointment and... bring the correct money for your event selection...bingo everyone will be happy

SUP VIC are pleased to announce the inaugural event from their newly-formed surfing sub-committee, the Autumn West Coast Classic SUP Surfing event to be held at Signpost, 13th Beach on Anzac Day Thursday 25th April 2013.
Following on from the highly successful Surfing Weekend at Inverloch, and utilizing their expertise in running enjoyable and well-organised racing and flat water events, SUP VIC have moved to compliment their racing with a dedicated SUP Surfing programme.
The plan is for this to be an inclusive day with all levels of skill and experience very welcome. The subcommittee has designed a number of events to cater for everyone.
Event Categories: - Surf Comp Men - Surf Comp Women - Surf Comp Juniors - Tag Team Surf - BOP/Technical Race
Pre-registration & payment online is recommended and offer discounted entry for those who pre-register.

Just put a rope across entry, in any case mind me a car park closest to entry

Great day today, very tough conditions but everyone soldiered on. Well done to Courtney Dalton for taking out the men's open and Lucy Bell taking out the women's. Everyone that entered the water gave it their hardest and most also copped a hiding including myself. We also had a short Bop race later on down at Queenscliff which was a welcome change to the close outs at 13th. Well done to all the crew that also did the race after surfing all day.
Thanks to all the guys at Sup Vic for running the day, I won't name names but you all know who you are, massive effort in such a short time.

Best Surf(SUP) event so far. real waves.! Thanks SUPVIC Crap conditions late, but that was also test of fitness.. FN hard paddling.. Was stoked to surf with all you crew...:) Stoked for my brother Troy (3rd) More importantly.. Massive respect for Christys bombie assault last week ! That is what it's about! Aloha Courtney.

It would seem ridiculous if this were true as there reason for postponing the titles was due to low number entries, this is how I understand it anyway. Give surf vic a tingle to be sure.
Thanks again to all the people who put this on. Great work Phil and looking forward to seeing some more pics in the coming days. I'm sure it will take a while to edit them all, but saw some great rides and spectacular wipeouts. First time that I've entered a SUP/Surf contest and it was great to be out there and also watch what everybody else was doing. Big cheer for al the girls for their effort in very trying conditions.
Well done to the Sup Vic Surf team for putting on such a great "Autumn Classic" event yesterday.
Lots of credit due to all the participants for embracing the opportunity to paddle through a pretty sizeable shorebreak and sets to put on a classy display of Sup surfing. As witnessed yesterday, Vicco sup surfing is well and truly up there in standard and a good match with the other States in all age categories.
It will be a good result for the Vicco surfers, when that is recognised at the National Titles, with equal representation of entrants in all categories is achieved.......in the not to distant future
Looking forward to the next event, the "Winter Classic" stay tuned......
Just spent 4 hrs loading photos Hoagie got some good ones of you standing tall and many others if any one wants high res let me know and as usual they are free . Also about to post a Little piece on you tube of some of the fun
