Hey Reagan,
Did you borrow the 14' glide? How did it go?
Belly hit the nail on the head.
The difference between my Pin and the Naish 14 was a country mile (at least 40-50% better, remembering that the Pin is a flat water board), but between the JL 12'6 and the 14 probably about 10%.
The JL Albatross is a great downwind board and has very similar rails and weight distribution in its tail to the 14.
Dont get me wrong if I had the cash I would of bought the 14 Naish board (really great at picking up runners and loved the run). But got me thinking if the 14 was that good what is the 16/17 footers like

? Maybe it is worth it going to 16/17 in length.
Catching runners was super easy and great fun on the 14. Was also amazed how quickly I took to the board, even though it is very different from anything else I have paddled.
A lot of thinking still to do

.
PS have to give a big shout out to Ross and Scarborourgh Longboards

as he lent me the board (which is his own) and was really helpful. (Disc: I am in no way assocaited with Scarborourgh Longboards or Naish or Starboard or Jimmy Lewis for all those people who care about that crap)
