Be keen to meet up for one of these in the future. Mostly early-morning or around midday better suits me at the moment, anywhere would be fine but port beach to swannie is closest to me (how long does that normally take by the way?) if that fits in with anybody here Id love to come along.

Very new to the sport had my starboard 10'5" drive for about a month but been out quite regularly (3-4 times a week) so quite green and by the sounds of it my board is a bit on the short side. Really enjoying the board and the whole experience.

hope to catch up with some of you in the future

Not the best time. Sea breeze comes in about mid day to 2pm the runners build up during the day. The later the better.

If the breeze is in will do it again tomorrow 4 to 5pm

thanks for the response hilly - a little bit of juggling and i should be able to head out late afternoons so would be great to tag along. Went dutch-inn to a bit beyond leighton bridge this morning, bit of a struggle SE or ESE it seemed (easy coming back) but great to get out.

How did port beach to swannie go and any other DW's up the coast by anyone (did the seabreeze come in?).

hoping to get out after that around middayish at cott tomorrow.

Its looking like a pretty crap week ahead for downwinders - maybe a river run at some point?

I checked out the ramp at Rous Head and it looks pretty doable - has some steps going down the right hand side - at high tide they go right to the water at low tide there are still a rock or two to negotiate

When we get some wind I'd be keen on doing a few longer down winders as lead up to the Dr
