You must get a warm swirling current off PL as the makos up this end as a general rule only turn up outside 60+m water depth and generally not until the water gets to 18+ deg.
Whites well thats another mater they dont seem to have a temp sensor! and you can keep then all in that nice nursery down you way

Bells seems to attract nice big threshers I have seen 3 there in the last 12 months feeding on bait and 13th gets quite a few big 7 gills particularly on the western end.
Amazing what you see when your standing up on the board paddling rather than dangling legs like a teaser

Hey Phil, hows things mate

Just had a really nice surf in 3ft sucky waves with the odd bigger set at the river mouth closest to my place nice shaped peaks and great waves

Once again 100 m out the back as Im waiting for a set something big long and black surfaces on its side and goes back down, it was not a dolphin and I did not really want to look

A very nice right hander came through straight afterwards a late drop and tight bottom turn up into a barrel that I did not come out of and snapped my leash (2 in a week at the same spot). This spot is so hard to swim in at as its super rippy! Man was thinking I wish I had not just seen that black thing. It was quite a scary swim in !!
