As a poster of one of the "offending threads"

, just thought I'd give everyone my thoughts. Firstly I posted our results up purely for following suit and ease of access for people to find them, in the hope of generating more interest and getting people out on the water. If there was a dedicated section for race results I would have posted there. These time trials are not a club thing I just invite all the paddlers I know to come down and have a crack and hopefully bring friends and other paddlers along for the next time. If the Sunshine coast hadnt already been posting their results on here then I wouldnt have had the motivation to start organising a weekly event here in SA, as I doubt I wouldve looked through the club section (especially at a QLD club post) unless there was something from my club/area (even then I feel that no one uses that section, maybe thats a culture we can change?). So in that sense its a good thing that all the info was in the one place and hopefully this could turn into a bit of a national standard for people to see how they're comparing or through it we can organise some interstate challenges, but thats for another thread.
I know thats all pretty specific to my post and I'm not offended, just letting people know. I agree that the main page does get very cluttered, but with logical headings and catagories its pretty easy to be able to choose what you read or can see. Even though I havent been posting for very long I have read this forum for a long time aswell as standupzone and find that I am tired of looking at standupzone as I am interested in almost every aspect of the sport and to go between all the headings and then sort out which ones have new posts, info etc etc gets very tedious. I like the way this forum is however maybe if the catagories were: general, reviews and events/results. (just a quick idea) then that might help, as long as people do the right thing of course. Well apologies for the long winded response. Maybe next time I put the results up I'll chuck in some pics of hot chicks?

Cheers,
Bleachy.
