Hey guys,

Here is a quick little video of the swell from Tropical Cyclone Ului that happened during the festival of surfing. Just a bit of a combination of footage from a few days with a bit of free surfing footage and a bit of comp footage. I got way better waves but of course the camera wasn't filming at that time so I had to make do with what I got.

Anyway, hope you like it.

Nice package - good camera work, excellent editing, great choice of music. Oh and the surfing wasn't bad either.

Nice vid mate you're ripping I like the slow motion bits Nice AIR & Nice CLAIM styling. I have one question if you can help me out what editing program are you using to get the slow motion effect

Downwinder: I have a mac so I use Imovie for all my videos. You can usually get the slomo effect with most programs though. What program are you using?

Great waves,how long did swell hang around after cyclone?
Looks tricky avoiding other dudes paddling through wave.

The swell basically dropped straight away. It is kinda hard but you get used to it surfing Noosa a lot.

Oh ok, I don't know anything about Nero 9. I have never used it. Maybe just google if you can get a slomo effect with it.

Yeah nuff said I think... (can't resist) far out man- nice floaters!

Were you surfing nationals on good friday or over easter- think I might ave saw you when I was up there.

It was cool because I was trying to convince my mates that paddleboarding was as good as surfing and then this guy on a white board just came in pumping with his paddle in the air and I was like - See!

Needless to say they were convinced. :D
