Totally disagree if that worked everyone would be on sb impossibles. I think shortboard shapes have got the performance shape sussed over the last 50 years. If you want a sup that surfs like a shortboard it has to look like one.
Round noses do dig in and do not allow the average surfer to surf steep waves well. Will take out freaks like s mckerch from that equation.
Round noses are great for flatter waves and stability
