Jacko, nice work over there in Germany. I read somewhere the 10k was over in 55min. Thats smokin'. Did you have your garmin running? Any chance of uploading the track to see how you paced the race?

i went over to the event from the uk (about a 10h drive) and had the best time a really great fun event and was great to meet a few of you guys over there aswell as the Hawaians ect some really great racing and a amazing venue to watch with some good crowds watching and cheering on and i even managed to get a 1st in the amateur spint and 2nd in the am distance on the new fanatic fly so was supper happy with that.

i think i got a few not many though i havnt actualy even looked at them yet there are alot going around face book on everyones pages and there is a flicker page here

I think the time's were much faster than that and the course is not 10km it would be about 8.5km i would say. Jenny who won the girls done it in 55 mins and she was a lap behind us at the finish so i would be guessing 47mins or there abouts!! I did take my GPS but forgot to wear it.

That's fast paddlin for sure. I need to step up the training! I was thinking around 10kph was about the pace for the top guys in flat water no wind - but if I get the numbers right that's just your cruising speed. Fark.
