Does anyone have any good ideas on how to carry the family SUP's on the roof of the car? I can get 3 laying flat but need longer straps for the 4 - I have also looked at these - http://www.yakima.com.au/au/shop-en/camping/top/bigstack.html
Any ideas would be great
Thanks
The Thule straps for kayaks IMHO are the best on the market....They are super long and could fit up to 4 boards...plus they have a metal ratchet to tighten with a rubber sleeve to protect the boards. I have used mine for surfing for 12 years and havnt had to replace them.
Travelled at the legal top speed (and a tiny bit over when overtaking ...oops) and never had a problem...(yet)...tho they are also only as strong as your racks....The Rhino racks which are custom made for the special gutters on my 14 YO Commodore wagon are BULLET PROOF.
The only downside is that they may not be really wide enough to fit big boards like SUP's side by side (dont know as I dont actually own a sup

) but can carry 2 mals (just) side by side but this makes their profile much more streamlined for aesthetics and wind resistance.
