How come all the photo's of guys sup surfing in most of theses photos in vic are of guys trimming or trying to do a bottom turn?
Look at Lummers, Sparx, Janbruun, Ockanui and Matt 18 and the boys from down south (Robdog's crew) They all use the lip or face of the wave. Please when you're taking photo's wait until they do something, otherwise in my opinion it's like looking at downwinding on bigger pieces of chop. The guy's are good, the waves sensational the timing of the photos average. OG Phil used to have the knack but he's diisappeared off the scene. Sorry about the whinge but I found it hard to get excited by the pics even though I appreciate you have to be out of the water to be taking them and I have never contributed anything.
It's just an observation about the bulk of photos on this particular thread and meant to be constructive. Timing is everything!!

If I was you I'd give him a rough towelling down as well, but after meeting him and judging by his size I think you might cop a clip behind the ear back.
. My apologies to everyone. I pointed out that I wasn't actually going to get out of the water and take those action photos!! And I am yet to provide any photos of consequence to this forum.. They certainly are better than nothing, which has been my contribution!
