my goldfish nibbled my toe today. big goldfish though. mighta lost a nail. looked like a freakin koi!

I've got a couple fish that like to have a nibble when I clean the tank - the angel fish is the worst offender (kinda ironic)

I would say this one got a bit blown out - I think the blame for that lands on the Surfwatch claim more than the media.......

I reckon I would sh.t myself if anything with teeth latched onto me in the ocean. I don't care if it is a Wobbegong.

How cool would that be chatting up chicks in the pub. All the cool dudes showing off their scars and tatts and ****, and you show off your shark bite. It was only a little one ...

I think you guys are underestimating the rising threat of the wobbegong. They have been responsible for more shark attacks in the last few years than any other breed.

They are slowly, but confidently, learning how to be a predator.

Soon, like the dolphin before them, they will rise on their tails, walk upon the land and claim what is rightfully theirs.

Ummm-because the shark 'expert' has an agenda-same bloke that is pressuring the State Government to use his shark patrol services......far more hysteria is whipped up by the prospects of man eating great whites than shy bottom nibbling wobbies.

The local Koori story on how to deal with a Wobbigong bite is
a hoot.
If you are bitten by a wobby you must never immeaditely pull
you leg or foot away.
Because of the backward pointing needlelike teeth pulling away
causes more damage.
One must wait untill the wobby opens up to grab another bite
THEN pull away.
Sheeesh!
Some things are easier said than done.
