Piro's, Jamie Sterling's board is a 9'6 Pintail Ripper. Trying to get further details.
Yes, Blane has been pretty quiet of late (especially on the forums) with his skills being in high demand. He has been working for months now on the new range and shaping boards for friends along the way.
These boards are hand glassed (the construction method of choice for most customs) which is great for weight but not always high in the durability stakes.
The production customs coming soon will not be hand glassed or moulded, but weight WILL be
be a key factor. Blane is not so sold on going super light but he is very aware that weight becomes a factor in smaller waves and as many have noticed the boards out now are some of the lightest production boards out there.
At least we know that when we finally get the new range, they will RIP!
Patience hurts!
