Tomorrow morning OZ SUP is being featured on the "TODAY SHOW" weather segment with Steve Jacobs. Special Guest Gerry Lopez (Mr Pipe line). The show is going live from 6:00 onwards and will be shown Nationally.. Belly has had the weather gods on the phone and they tell him it is going to be a good fine morning. If you want to meet one of the most respected Legends of surfing, Gerry is your man. We would love for everybody to come down and be part of this live to air fun morning. All you have to do is turn up at 5:50 tomorrow morning and be part of the shoot. We will have free shirts and hats for the first 20 people, and you are all welcome to be part of the on water paddle activities. Please PM me to let us know your coming. YEEW!!!

But I still feel for Matt Johnson when he got shown up by Gerry in that picture theatre.
I know it's a long time but it was very embarrasing for Matt in front of his family.

Of course he's the man ... he was in 'Conan the Barbarian' too ... that's him on the right ... google him - he was Subotai

Recorded it on the IQ box and fast forwarded through every bloody Jacobs weather report from 6am til 8:30am. Loved it, and how good is the exposure for Belly and Sup in general ?
The best part was when radio shock jock Ray Hadley was chatting with Karl and bagged Jacobs for holding the paddle the wrong way. Jacobs was holding it the correct way and egg on Hadley's face - you joke.

Thanks to all who came down to support the OZSUP Crew at Rose Bay today! What a great way to share the stoke and spread the word about SUP. Stevie Jacobs and the TODAY Crew were great sports and really did our sport proud in showcasing some of what SUP has to offer.
What an honour to meet and paddle with a true gentleman and visionary, of not only SUP, but Surfing et al - Gerry Lopez. Everyone was really stoked to meet him and he took the time to chat, take photos, sign autographs and paddle with the whole crew. Thanks for sharing your time Gerry!
Whilst the OZSUP Crew led by Belly and Seppy hosted the event, many other businesses from the industry joined in - thanks to Carve Surf (Froggy and Robbo) for the awesome clothes and sunnies, and great to see the Bondi SUP Crew there as well (nice yoga Charlotte).

so so so sad to see one of the most amazing surfers of our time ,both in beautiful barrel riding ,being at the forefront of opening up new frontier surf spots , is surrounded by complete dumb arse muppets who do'nt know wtf is going on god speed mr lopez, god speed

What a heavy burden you bear for the rest of us tardos, we apologise for being such dullards! Appreciation of the ocean, enjoyment of the sport and fun was pretty much the aim of today. It was a real treat to meet Gerry ... I doubt it would be the same with you.
