Hey AA hope you have a speedy recovery!
I copped a fin chop to my foot a while back by the exact same shaped fin. It just punctured my foot with ease. Have to agree with sanding down that edge. It's just sometimes the small things we miss
Adapt, I reckon we have all had our close calls and serious cuts but that fin is dangerous!

Apprantley the head honchos at Future Fins in the US have seen the pics and offered me a new set of fins. Generosity

Wow mate good effort! I hope it heals quickly for you and you can be back on the water soon...
Thanks for taking your self out of the Masters at Merimbula and giving me more of a chance..
See you down there for a cold beer
Best wishes Rod
Yeah it wasn't a pleasure Rod! From what I have seen I will have to tie your ankles together to have any chance anyway.

OMG - I did look & now I am scarred (or scared??) for life! That is one hell of a gash! Look forward to catching up in a couple of weeks!
If you wanna be in the race we can sit you on one of the streetsups & push you around the carpark?

November is not your month!
If your around Wed / Thurs I'll drop in next week when I'm in Syd,
Best wishes for a speedy recovery.
Phill and Kristi
Thanks guys - appreciate the good wished so much!!
Put it this way Phil I ain't going nowhere next week! Swing by!
Looking back I wish I had done a few things differently - played the shark attack card with the locals, pushed a bit harder to get my moneys worth by putting the siren on as we drove past the shop and of course ask for a permanant leg rope to be attached at the stitch up! Oh well! Always easy to remember in hindsight.

Here's to sand paper, Flexi fins and Endone!
