Plenty of Northside vs Southside sledging going on!
Just heard that couple of 14' class heavy hitters will be there ... Big Mark M from Jamieson Park and Coreban's own Paul 'Pinky' D ...
Don't forget that Shaggy is coming from the High Country ... He's leading the 12'6 class and doesn't mind passing the 14' whilst he's at it ...
Pink board is ready to go. Itching to exercise and haven't done anything since last Sunday. Full day of SUP tomorrow will get my fix though. Blast in the morning then Club races in the arvo. Yah hhooo.

Great catching up yesterday and a wonderful day as usual with the Blast crew.
I have about 30 images from the morning on my Blog at www.supanimal.com
....and also some from yesterday's SUP Club Round too.
Ran out of time to upload here as well sorry.
BTW - how lucky was I winning the Coreban Performer SUP yesterday for my daughter.....she's so stoked.
Big thankyou to the organisers from me as well. Has been a great series, well run and well done. Good to see alot of first time racers getting involved. Also big thanks to the Sponsors, I was lucky enough to win the other major prize. (Thanks Stuart from Suplove) Good to see so many sponsors getting behind these events. I'll try and bring up the "other Shire hard men" and a few willing bodies from the Gong for the next series.
Yeh it was a cool morning. Some great paddling. Well done Sammy. Also a special mention to one paddler who made a classic finish. Hoping Casso got it on film :)

I can't believe that was your first race Mal. Awesome job and thanks for making the trip from the Central Coast. Almost travelled as far as the Shire folk.
Thanks Sam. Not first, my first race was SUPA at The Entrance channel on a borrowed board. Now i have my own Board I did the Naish River Race as well. So had a couple of races, but that was the longest, and i could feel it Me and my wife had a great time.Love the whole friendly and encouraging vibe that you get from the Sydney sup race community. Definitely will be entering more races.I better start trainning for longer than 5K races.
