This thread has really had me thinking. I understand all the Us and Them arguments. Like Sort boards, Mal, SUp's and lidders but it really should be more of a simple surf etiquette. I agree also that we may never get there but i think it needs to at least be talked about.
We should all have respect for each other and that means sharing waves, just as much as safety for each other.
Now SBoarders hate sup mostly from what i can tell is there ability to catch more waves, but for me i think its more about safety. As a fellow SUP rider how would you feel if a Sup kook cleaned you up and cut through your leg tendons

Me id be pissed if it was anyone be it SUP, mal or shorty

So for me i think we need to all admit limitations on surf products and skill levels and now when to say this is beyond me..

I surf with loads of Lidders and i take it upon myself to educate these guys all the time. It seems we need to start re teaching surf etiquette from ground up

SUp's should teach other SUp's, and so on through the ranks. Or we will be forced by councils to live by there rules, and who knows what that could mean..
